Parish Mission Statement
Jesus Christ said to St. Philip the Apostle,
"Come follow Me."
As members of the parish community of St. Philip's, we seek to live as disciples of the Lord by living our faith through service to others.
Based on a strong faith, a guided hope and a well rooted love, we encourage all to walk that journey with Christ with humility and courage.
St. Philip’s has many different organizations; social, liturgical and educational serving the needs of the Parish, Diocese and local Community.
It’s always good to look at your interest, talents, and gifts and pray for the Lord to show you how and where he would like you to serve in the ministry of building up his kingdom on earth. No one has all the gifts but together we have it all!
If you need help determining where you can best serve, investigate the various organizations. See what appeals to you. Ask questions of the leaders. Father is always available to help determine your God given strengths.
The stewardship committee will also be able to provide you with a personal assessment inventory to help you decide.
Remember, you can’t go wrong in your service to the church if you are making yourself available to serve God for His Honor and His Glory!
Come be a part of a loving, supportive community of givers, serving God through service to His people!
